< How to be a Pacifist Priestess

By Sabil NicCiardha

I have learned that there is more to hunting, there is more to getting insights while in Temuair. I'm not saying that hunting is wrong, I myself can not hurt a living a creature that Danaan created herself as well as Chadul it self. Many aislings like to achieve all their five circles by hunting and that is their choice, I just want to consider "Alternatives" that can be taken instead of killing poor innocent creatures that are just there living their lives then are taken away. Many feel a sense of bored ness when walking around Temuair, These are some things to do that can fill in that void.

Here are always quests that you can do to pass the time, some quests unfortunately do involve killing a creature, though I do not recommend you complete the quests that involve killing a creature but since it is not actual hunting I leave it to your decision to do those quests or not. What is good about doing quests is that you can add to your "Legend" (as one would say) and others can see your accomplishments from the medals you earn.

A priestess is known by the religion they have chosen, they pray and worship their God/ess and hold mass to show their dedication. I myself have chosen the path as a follower of Fiosachd. I pray to my Lord every day so I may be ready to assist those in need; go to masses as well as do many tasks for priests to earn their Gaes, and try to attend mass if possible for these small deeds help me focus as a Fiosachd priestess. Religion is a big part of a priestess's spark as a aisling there are exceptions though, those who are true worshipers of Chadul or Danaan are not bound to a religion so they do not get the "benefits" of the temple of the God/ess.

Though many do not like politics for it is both stressing and invigorating as you get higher in office, it is one think you can focus on as you live your simple life as a Pacifist Priestess. Being in politics will take up most your time especially if you are in the enforcement branch, you not only will help other aislings whether you are making laws or enforcing them, but you also get to see justice to those "Aisling killers" that walk around praying on innocent new aislings. Being a Politician and being a Pacifist Priestess are similar in their own way, in both you must show dedication, assist others if needed, be serious in what you do and show others that you are capable of completing what you have started.

As you grow, your mind grows with knowledge and with this knowledge you can teach others your ways as a priestess. Taking in students is another natural thing a priestess or any other path can do easily, Taking a aisling to the Temple of Initiation (Or also known as the Temple of Veils to some) when they are over insight eleven is a delightful experience, make sure the aisling understands their path as a priest. When mentoring a aisling you have two choices, one is to mentor them before they fully know their spark, mentoring a aisling who has their spark is enjoyable either way, it depends on what the student wants to learn. A true mentor teaches their students about their paths or helps them with their every day life as a aisling giving advice. The other way is to mentor someone in a religion, you teach them the ways of the God/ess you worship and they become disciples of your teachings, this does not give you experience but personal gain in yourself.

Learning new things and listening to vast tales of the past is something that aislings seem to enjoy. Going to college is a good way to pass the time, only recognized aislings can teach classes but if the recognized aisling is nice they will let you teach a class and they take attendance.

Living a life of a pacifist priestess is very difficult and you must be very VERY patient, though I know many will not take this life into consideration I know through hard work, dedication, and a lot of time that as long as you believe in yourself and do not stray away nothing will go wrong and you will be a strong willed aisling that proved those who have laughed or taunted you that they are wrong.

I know I may be a fool to not hurt a creature but this is the way I live and I wish others will consider "Alternatives" instead of killing. I've seen what death and murder has done to a few poor aislings that have lost their sparks because of it. Being a pacifist priest has taught me to appreciate the small things I never noticed, how dedicated I am to my religion or how I am proud of those who are my students.

((I must thank those who have helped me with the activities and let me take their pictures! Especially Vamistle, for helping me out with some of the quests and the five circles. everything that I have added is copyrighted by Nexon Inc. and my own experience as a Pacifist Priestess, I just wanted to show every that there is more to Temuair and Medenia then gaining Circles.))
